Statement
The photos showcased within this universe are a body of work rooted in quiet, solitude, and the stillness that arrives when the world slows down. I make these images at night, often while most people are asleep, and I focus on moments where space feels open, calm, and undisturbed. I choose this time because it gives me a sense of peace and control, a feeling that the world briefly becomes still and rests in my hands. Through these images, I use photography to hold stillness, to slow time, and to reclaim quiet spaces as moments of intention rather than mere transition.
I often center the work on architecture, artificial light, and environments shaped by human presence, even when no one appears in the frame. I photograph gas stations, buildings, streetlights, and empty structures in place of the figure. When I include people, I do so only when their presence feels intentional. More often, I allow absence to lead, letting space, light, form, and composition carry the weight of the image.
I create photographs that feel clean, crisp, and precisely framed. The images appear bold at first glance but grow calm when the viewer spends time with them. I use color and light deliberately to guide attention and build atmosphere. I do not aim to show what has happened. Instead, I hold a moment as it exists, without explanation.
I place the images in a state of pause. At times, they feel like endings. At other times, they sit at the edge of something beginning. I embrace that uncertainty. I do not offer clear answers or direct how the work should be understood. I believe photography, like all art, takes shape through perception, and meaning shifts depending on who looks and what they bring with them.
Rather than telling a story outright, I leave space. I invite the viewer to enter quietly, observe what is present, and decide for themselves what the image holds.
